Hey guys,

I just recently bought a proven pedigreed Rhinelander doe that I am quite excited about. She is a sport and certainly no champion but she was breed to a very handsome buck right before I got her and I am very excited about any babies I might get from her! :D
I was showed the kits from her last litter and absolutely fell in love

They were almost all little spotties :3

I don't have too many questions, I was just really excited(this is my first rabbit with a pedigree) and really wanted to share. I will get a picture up as soon as she settles in as she had a bit of a rough ride up here.

So, anyone else own Rhinelanders? PLEASE feel free to post any pics of yours on here and share your own Rhinelander experiences :D

Thanks!

THanks :D

Oh I LOVE English spots, the dark circles around the eyes are just stunning

If I had a had a choice I might have actually gone with those instead, but I've never seen them for sale around here :/ . Oh well, I'm very happy to have this girl, even if she is acting very grouchy with me right know :hmm

You just have to work with her. SHe will get nicer! I haven't seen many Rhinelanders for sale anywhere. There are English Spots everywhere though. Do you have a pic of her? Here's my spot doe, Razzle.

Oh Wow, Razzle is a real beauty! I actually haven't seen very many of the "arched" breeds for sale around here at all, though the woman I bought her from had a BUNCH of Rhinelanders and even a few Checkered Gaints...biggest rabbits I have EVER seen O.O

Yeah, she does seem to be calming down a bit. Yesturday she was very tense and even a little aggressive (more frightened than anything) Today I tried to make friends and gave her some little rose buds my mom had growing and while she's still a little wary she seems to realize I'm not going to devour her the next chance I get. Now instead of tensing up every time I walk by she seems more curious. She still gets very tense, raises her ears, and thrusts her nose towards my hand every time I reach in the cage but by and by I see her relaxing more and more.

Yesturday was just a really bad day for her but I can already see a curious if not rather serious doe shinning through.

I will try to get a pic some time this afternoon when I let her out to get some exercise.

Hey guys, here are the promised pics. She, whom I have named Rhiley, really enjoyed her little time out on the lawn :D .

We Had a STalker:

Rhiley was not Impressed LOL

But she did love the grass which she gobbled down like there was no tomorrow XD
