It ended up being a cockerel. We had three others that did as well.

This is BR and Perrywinkle. They were more roosterish when they came into there feathers. But both lay eggs. I figured they were just a different blood line from my other 4 who look like fat clones of each other. Both have pointy shiny neck feathers and just thin back feathers. But that was only confusing at age 3 months. I had a Rir rooster who started drastically changing in comparison and new the difference then.

Is this a rooster or a hen? We thought we got all hens but we have a few that we are not sure about. This is a rhode island red about four months old.
