RHODE ISLAND RED HENS FIRST EGGS SMALL

My rir hens are 21 weeks old now and 4/5 out of 8 just recently started laying. The eggs are quite small, which I have read is quite normal at first. A few have been laying for few weeks and the eggs are still the same size.
How long does it take for the eggs to get larger? At what point will I know if they are going to permanently be that size?

It can take anywhere from a few weeks to a few months for eggs to normalize.
