Tails aren't really an accurate way to sex chickens. Pullets often get awkward tails that may resemble the early stages of a cockerel's tail. A much better way to sex them is by looking at the saddle feathers. Cockerels that are 8 weeks or older will develop pointed saddle feathers, while pullets' feathers will stay rounded.Did they all turn out to be pullets?
I have 3...all with totally different tails
