.My young roo could likely pass confirmation as a pure Rhode Island Red, but he's half Australorp by his dad. Funny how that can happen. His one and only nest mate, the black hen, is also half and half, but couldn't pass as a pure Australorp due to a rusty chest and neck.
That's neat. As if your Roo got all of the RIR gene. I'm sure he's also nice looking Roo by now....
