He is definitely a rooster, when my chicks were 4 weeks old their combs were smaller and they were still yellowish colored.

Simply compare the two. The bird on the front to the bird on the rear roost. Big difference. The rear bird is a pullet with no wattles and no comb development. The lower roosting bird has huge wattles and a red comb at 7 weeks.

As said earlier in the thread, it is indeed a cockerel. You can start calling him a he.
