Rhode Island Red Thread!

Pics
RIR are one of my favorite breeds. I have 3 right now named Jackie, Jill, and Pebbles. Jackie ties with one of my White Rocks as friendliest chicken.

My one year old little Rhode Island Red has gone broody! I've never had a RIR go broody. In fact, that's why I like this breed. Good egg layer and never broody. Well, my gal is broody! Not happy about that, I want her eggs. But she is tame now so I can pick her up. That I like.

I'm so glad this thread is still alive! I'm hoping I can get some help from everyone ?! I have 3 production RIR. I bought them from a feed store at two days old as pullets. They are about 8 weeks old. I have been thinking one may be a Roo, please correct me if I'm wrong! Pic 1 is all 3 girls. 2,3 I believe pullet, 4 I accidentally posted 2 times. This would be my suspected Roo. He/she is the only one who will wonder and is very very friendly!! They all are. 5,6 pullet 7,8 9 is my suspect :) I actually like sugar the most. Other then comb growing much faster then others and personality I really don't know what else to look for? Any help ? Tips ? If I need to take a different picture? I also have two Ameraucana who turned out to be EE I already suspected that would happen. However I believe one may also be a Roo :) all were labeled pullets. I already have my perfect Roo! Sorry for the overload of pics! I want to figure it out quick to find new homes. All them came from same feed store . Thanks again!

Sorry I'm not much help. But here's a picture of my RIR when they were about 6 weeks old. Maybe you can draw some comparison. He's standing with pullets his same age.
Now he is 17 weeks. The little Roo in the picture is absolutely beautiful now and chasing the girls. I really do enjoy them. Good luck with flock.

How old are they in this picture ? Yes, definitely helps. ! Our are about 8 weeks, I'll just watch sugar a bit more but no red or wattle. I think we may be ok. Thank you! Do you happen to have any more pictures ?

Here are my RIRs, along two Black Beauties in there as well. We have 9 RIR and T BB, had 10 RIRs, but one got snatched from above by a hawk before I put the temporary roof on the run. Making a new roof this weekend.

They are 10-11 weeks old in these pictures taken approx May 15, 2014.

Using the new watering system!
