here are a couple updated photos. Does it look like I may have a pullet and a cockerel as I am hoping?

It's not possible to tell at this age in a bit couple weeks you'll know for sure you got a 50/50 chance for hen and roo

The parents look like RIR to me so we will have to wait and see

Telling me to have patience with sexing of chicks is like telling a new mom not to try every old wives tale they can find to sex their unborn infant! Hahaha I'm a chicken mama! Plus i want to learn as much as i can about how to sex different breeds earlier. Love learning!

about 6-7 weeks old. The pointy tips of the comb are still yellow. The other chick has much more yellowing of comb still.
