We recently got 8 chicks, 4 golden comets which we knew were hens and 4 RI Reds which we didn’t know what they were. Now they are approx 3 months and we fear we now have 4 roosters.
Can you help us tell if they are roosters or hens?

Sigh what a bust.. but with only 4 hens we can’t keep 4 roosters, right?
Probably not unless you added more hens. Although you can actually make a bachelor pen so to speak and put the boys in there and as long as there aren’t girls around they shouldn’t fight. Then you can either keep them a while or just grow them out until they’re big enough to eat or whatever. You could try putting one of them with the girls too. Or could try Craigslist or your state thread to rehome them.
