If you want to start over, what breeds were you thinking? I'm not sure if Cluck still has chicks, but if you want ameraucanas I can recommend the place in MA where we got our chicks from.

Just getting started on a brood of 4; 2 Barred Plymouth Rocks, RI Red, and a silver Wyandotte. All will be 3 weeks on Monday. Have in makeshift brooder in my garage. Going to build my Tractor Supply coop either this weekend or next...waiting for the rain to stop!

Hello from RI! Anyone Have a Faverolles pullet they'd like to rehome? Small backyard laying flock started this year.....three Sussex, three Polish, and two Faverolles (lost the third in shipping). Love the Faverolles, but having trouble finding one locally. Had a few leads, but nothing has panned out yet. Trying to get one sooner than later, thinking introductions might be easier while everyone is still young and hasn't started laying! . Thanks for any thoughts you might have.

Hi everyone! I live in Cumberland and got my first chicks about 5 months ago. I have 2 Plymouth rocks and another that I don't know the breed. I am trying to get a couple silkies locally if possible. I found some on websites but the lowest minimum to buy is 6. Does anyone know where I can find some silkies locally? Thanks for any information.

hi janey. i know i ran into the same issue as well. i only wanted 1 or 2 more but there r limits at a lot of places. try Quinebaug farm in Conn. She is right over the line. she is also on facebook by that name. i know last time i knew she had a few Silkies for sale. black, white and a gold or brown one.
