Rhubarb.

I have some garden rhubarb stalks growing where I intend to build my chukar pen. I was wondering if that would be poisonous to chukars and I would need to rip it out or if it could stay.

I would definitely pull them out and make sure they don't sprout back up. rhubarb leaves are posinous to chickens so I would assume chucker too. I just wouldn't take any chances.

My flock strip rhubarb leaves like they were the best treat ever and it doesn't bother them at all. But, the rhubarb won't survive the birds, so you might as well transplant it elsewhere just to save your rhubarb.
