Oh, one more bit... We may keep the feed tube in once she no longer needs it for feeding. She gets an oral med through the tube that tastes awefull and the pill is huge.So we may keep the tube in just to provide that med.

Good evening folks, just got home...

I'm commuting it's a daily 3 hour drive round trip. I left 15 minutes late today and it turned into a 3 1/2 hour commute.

I will and I have. Today she got to eat real food for lunch... Her assessment was it was nice to eat real food but it tasted like crap. I tasted it too, she's right it tasted like crap. But in any case she ate about half her lunch which is not inconsistent with her normal eating and all of her desert. She really liked the chocolate pudding.

Try to take care of yourself as well. That is a lot of driving and you don't want to do it too tired. I did the same when my Mom was in the hospital. You need to be careful.

Now, a reality series about people who really care about providing high standards of living for animals would be one I might watch.

Hi guys... I left 15 minutes late and got home almost an hour late. Traffic in the big cities sucks. Sue is more responsive today and I got to feed her lunch. Her assessment was it tasted like crap. I tasted it and will confirm her assessment. But none-the-less she ate half of it. And she ate all of her pudding and half of her chocolate ice cream. She's not at all happy about me feeding her but her arms are still restrained to keep her from pulling out IVs

Still a step forward. That's good. Unfortunately hospital food tends to not be full of flavor. At least she ate it. That's good.
