Same as Rich! He'll be 55 on August 24th. Morgan, his daughter, will be 13 on the 24th as well. She was born on his 42nd birthday.

Friday night Rich and I treated ourselves to a date nite for our birthdays. He took us to the dirt track races. In the 1990's Rich races a 358 Sprint car at the very track he took me too. We went to the historic Williams Grove Raceway. We bought pit passes and were able to get right up next to the race cars.

Every car gets test laps and then they started with time trials. To make the field smaller the run a few cars a couple of laps and the fastest move into the final race.

A hot day turned into a beautiful evening as we settled in to watch the main race, the 410 sprints. While we were in the pits a guy approached Rich and gave him a picture of his car. He is a fellow Mason, like Rich, and he even had the driver sign it for us!

I managed to video the very start of the race. It's loud, but I just love the sound of the engines!

Rich and I had the best evening together! It was so needed!
