I thought of all you folks as I was driving home last night because the sunset was lovely.

I sometimes try making chicken noises with them. They seem to listen but I've very little idea what I'm saying

So do I. I try to imitate their happy noises ~ trills & soft boks.

It's a wide horizon. Very expansive. Looking at it in person soiths my mind.

I can believe that it soothes you.

Our horizon is obstructed by mountains. I found the plains of Kansas unnerving probably because of the vastness. Eveything is close and comfy here. That is what soothes me.
