This is The Hu.
You can hear Mongolian tonal singing & the lead gets right down into the fry ~ the lowest register you can get! If I remember right you also get some tonal harmonics in this piece. It is very clever musicianship.

So do I! I think I really appreciate it because I watched tonal harmonics being taught & it is really, really difficult to do. Even trained musicians struggle.

FORMING THE CUDDLE PUDDLE.
When I went to check on my girls, everyone was where they should be. They hadn't been. The evidence was everywhere to be seen but...
Hepzibah & Luna decided to enjoy the sun @ my feet.
Lavender & Alpia considered joining them.

If anybody is Alpha hen amongst my lot it is Soda. She is a huge, buxom girl & this arrangement did not make anyone else happy! The cuddle burst apart like a wet bubble.​

I've been wanting to try this pattern for a while but I wanted to use some hand dyed yarn & that proved rather difficult in the middle of a pandemic. I eventually got one skein to work with ~ not enough for a full shawl but enough for a small scarf. I think it came up rather pretty. Still have to tidy up my ends but we're done.
