I have 3 in broody jail. After 2 years with nary a sign of going broody , Lavender is proving a very stubborn broody. They wouldn't even think about roosting in the big coop with all those nesting boxes available!

In the little coop they are all up for the night, including Lavender who was never designed to roost on something more suited to the bantams. She looks pretty pissed about it.

All the rest are nicely spread along the top roost in the big coop

I've been in pain for a week now. I finally went to the doctor and we're waiting on CT scan results to see if it's a kidney stone or a muscle pull in my back.

The animals know I'm in pain. They've decided to make a cuddle puddle with me. ❤

Dixie beat Rex up on the couch. Taz usually doesn't lay with me, so he must sense something. Scooby is happy I'm off work today and he can get extra snuggles.
