Ribh's D'Coopage

These two are the extras. Extra kudos if you know what they are.Vorwerks

I know no~one who has them & was unsure about how they would fit in but the man was keen because they were golden rather than the B&W I seem to keep going for.

They haven't been in Australia long so are still considered quite rare. I think I must be quite mad.

These two are very pretty, and very unusual. I have never seen chickens like them (well, with all my vast experience...🙄)
What are they? Anyone?

And in the middle of the night it occurred to me I need some names. I thought I might go Shakespearean so if you have a favourite Shakespearean lady list her here. I might decide one of the new girls looks like a good fit. ;)

Cleopatra, of course!

I really liked Cleopatra but nobody claimed it. :(

Vorwerks. They're a German Breed & pretty new out here.

Everybody did eventually make it downstairs this morning. My GLW was 1st out & about. Then the Vorwerks, followed by the SLWF. It took a while but the white frizzle was next followed by her sister. The Japanese were last & very cautious.

Those tinies have a real thing for roosting in the food dishes. The others just stuff their faces in around them! 🙄

And not forgetting my big girls who are all a little put out so much attention is going to the other coop.

What a wonderful start. I'm so glad they are younger so you get to experience of them growing into adulthood.

Well, it's not something I would have deliberately set out to do. I'm a bit of a woos that way but they are here now & fascinated by their new environment. I think they will fit in very nicely.
