I always count him as one. He ruled Macedonia before he conquered 1/2 the known world.I'm pretty sure there were no British King Alexanders..... unless you count Queen Alexandria...

It really was green...I think that is actually green. At least it appears green on my tablet.
Poor baby. I would bet the coccidiosis took advantage of her in her weakened state from the injury. Maybe the injury caused some sort of internal problem that got infected and therefore the fever? I’m sorry this happened, but it’s good you caught the cocccidiosis before more went downhill.Yes. In reality We're not really sure what went wrong. There were very slight traces of cocci & the bloody poop only showed after I arrived @ the vet. I mightn't know much but I know to watch the poop carefully. She did seem to have some sort of leg injury & a very high temp apparently ~ something I couldn't have known @ the time. The vet didn't like her chances of survival even with treatment so we decided it was best to end her suffering. I really feel she got a bum deal but the vet was adamant that travelling in the weather as it was @ the time would not have been the best call so in reality I did everything possible within my limited knowledge. The man wants me to replace her but I've been dithering on it. It would mean @ least 2 more birds & extending the quarantine of the big girls, who are only just getting some run time again now.

I agree with this. This is just me, but I would not split the flock. It is their support group. I would merge them all at once. Some of the bigger ones should provide some cover for the bantams. This subflock will hang together if you integrate together and will likely just latch onto the bottom of your current pecking order. I would do 1 integration not 2. If you break them up and the bantams are not at the bottom of the subflock pecking order then there will likely be incidents resulting from them trying to regain those spots in the larger flock. My opinion is that it will be smoother doing it all at once.
Little sweethearts! My beautiful B&W frizzles, Portia & Olivia.
No~one wants to roost @ night. They all form a cuddle puddle on the floor still, but during the day when everyone spends a lot of time in the coop I find them all practising like this.
These 2 are quite good friends.

It's always a hard call ~ especially for such a young bird.Poor baby. I would bet the coccidiosis took advantage of her in her weakened state from the injury. Thank you. Yes, I am looking @ how best to move the flock all together ~ plus the littlies are still on chick starter so on a different feed to the big girls & I need to take that into account.I agree with this.
