Morrigu is sitting on her egg.
Soda is sitting on Morrigu because Morrigu has the egg.
It was a very tight squish in there!

It has to be a control thing of some kind. She is exercising control over the flock. Maybe she has lost control over something else and is making herself feel better by exerting control in this fashion. What do you think?Hopefully she's given up on Gandalfing completely.
Tsuki has seemed worse for the last week. I hope it's not her New Year's Resolution to try and keep the younger girls out of the coop!
Is she at the bottom of the pecking order? Everybody in the flock demonstrated their displeasure with Sydney when she was broody by pecking at her. This is one of the reasons that I made certain I was there everyday when she got off the nest. I made certain that she was able to eat, drink, and dustbathe without the others chasing her. And I did need to step in and shoo the others away from her many times. Sansa and Lilly were both very unhappy with her for hatching.Pepper has been broody again for the last 5 days or so. *sigh*
She pancakes and fluffs and pecks hard at my until I've lifted her out and placed her in front of a bowl of water or breakfast bar. Then she will have a little sip of water or a couple of pecks of food and race off at full speed back to the nesting box.
This morning she was pecked by everybody but Edwina while trying to get a mouthful. At least she had a dust bath before heading back to the nest this time.
