Ribh's D'Coopage

Caught up!

Not much to report except Ester dropped a shelless egg from the roost so I’m giving her calcium. Dorothy *might* be heading into molt and Flo (Australorp from 2020 chicks) started laying. All is mostly well for my flock, I think. I know many of you are taking on Shad’s word, Tribe, but since I have all girls and they’re in an enclosure most of the time, it’s more like a forced flock.

Oh my gosh, Alice? Isn’t she the one entered in last year’s molting contest? And she’s at it again already?
Her last moult was at the beginning of April last year so it's been almost 10 months. Her feathers are looking grubby and tatty so it's not a bad thing. She also seems to be losing them in layers so hopefully she won't go completely bald this time!

Oh, Ribh! Isn’t she precious!

She is absolutely adorable. 🥰
@BY Bob thought I'd get one or 2 really special ones in this lot & it looks like he was right.
Desdemona & Olivia both always come & say hello when I appear but all this lot appear to think I'm their safe place. If I'm in the coop they know I'll make sure they get their food & water & help sorting out the roosting.

This is how they ended up tonight. Everyone opted for the 2nd roost despite the nasty
peckers being @ the wrong end on the top roost tonight.

Desdemona ended up on the outside but she was very calm about it. The other Littlies got the wall & the Big 3 were all together.

Good evening everyone 😊

I agree with DH ❤

No, not gross! Looks painful, though. I’m
just catching up. How are you feeling now?

I started therapy on Tuesday, and they gave me some beginning exercises to loosen my stiff wrist. All is going well for now and as long as my knee doesn't give out anymore.
