I think we'd be wise to anticipate a unique narrative format which might be hard to read. But I'm up for her challenge!
I have ordered a copy from Book Depository [free postage!I've requested a hard copy from the library, which they'll have to retrieve from storage. I asked for it before Thursday. So I should be ok to start reading next weekend, although I won't start without you.
I figure I can buy and switch to my own copy later if I want to.
X3Me too.
Reviews say it's not as difficult as some of her later work so we might be ok...I think we'd be wise to anticipate a unique narrative format which might be hard to read. But I'm up for her challenge!
But you've done more years at the University of Life and that always makes a huge difference in terms of heightened perceptiveness and sheer volume of relatable experienceReviews say it's not as difficult as some of her later work so we might be ok...I'm not as sharp as I used to be unfortunately.
How very flattering of you to say so.But you've done more years at the University of Life and that always makes a huge difference in terms of heightened perceptiveness and sheer volume of relatable experience![]()
Shall we start together, read and discuss each chapter? Or save discussion to the very end?How very flattering of you to say so.I'm not so sure but I'm actually starting to look forward to this challenge. It's been a while since I really sank my teeth into something this meaty. Thanks, MJ!
I like chapter by chapter if that works for you. It keeps everything alive for me & changes my perspective as I go. I will see if my library has a copy so I can start earlier with you & change to my own copy when it arrives. It's also what I'm used to from Uni...Shall we start together, read and discuss each chapter? Or save discussion to the very end?
