Yes. Me too. I think I like Autumn/Fall best but it is hard to summon that right now when I feel like Spring would be best.
Maybe I simply always prefer the next season coming!
In good news there is no snow forecast for the next ten days. So I think that is past. Also in good news from the ten day forecast - it will be above freezing during the day every day, and hit 50 on a couple of days.
In less good news however it will be well below freezing every night and on many nights it will be down to the low 20s. I think I am stuck with my ice-slide to the Chicken Palace for a while yet.
Will you give Phyllis her due now? No more snow, some 50s, sounds like spring to me.

Your kitties look so soft and cuddly. 🤗

How is the place on Josh's back knee going where the incision opened up?

It has closed up, there is a little soft swelling, the vet had a look at it and said it will eventually go down, his leg is not in a completely natural form, so it's putting a bit of stress there.

And here we are discussing when exactly we'll order our first load of wood. 😆 My GS keeps trying to convince me to put the fire on already but it was 31.8C here yesterday. Not going to happen when the temps are still that high & 55% humidity.

Good morning folks :frow

Stocking up on firewood is always a good thing. Wish I had the equipment, time/energy/knowledge... There's plenty here, I just need to harvest it and prepare it. I'm a novice (aka scared to death) on a chain saw. Need a tractor, trailer with lift, splitter and knowledge to know how to operate it all.... Okay, I'll buy it as long as I can. I have a couple of oak trees cut up, but the guy cut the logs twice as long as my stove. So I would have to cut everything in half with said chain saw and then rent a splitter to split it all. And find time to do that while working 40 hours a week and keeping tabs on the wandering gypsy who likes to cheat.
