Sad news... I am officially allergic to my cats .. I was testing things out just to be sure and today I was holding... and kissing Pippin.. and I got it bad ... my eyes start to itch.. REALLY BAD!! And from the kissing my lips itch ... one eye turns blood red and gets these weird bubbles of water on my eyeball ... I guess that could be the result of trying to scratch my eyes out

I guess I’ll just look at them from a distance ..... yea right!

Zyrtec is GREAT for cat allergies. My step-daughter is allergic to cats and we have 2. She takes 1 a day when she's with us and she can bury her face right into her kitty boy with no issues.

If you have a club store, like Sam's or Costco, near you they sell 365 count bottles for about $15. I take one every day and it does not make you sleepy.

I know chooks have good eyesight but I'm not sure of their aesthetic appreciation. Yesterday evening as they were heading back to the coop everything was aglow after all the rain.

This morning: sea mist in all the low places.

It's still rolling in...

This picture was taken on the evening one of my best friends was laid to rest. He was killed by a hit and run driver 3 days before Christmas. His funeral was the day after Christmas. This is looking down the street from my house toward the church where his services were held.

Beautiful! I have always had a fondness for Australia. It's on my bucket list, but sadly I doubt I'll ever make it.

I'd love too!! I really would. I used to belong to an online horse forum and I was always so enthralled by the difference in breeds and care techniques from those in Australia. I'm a learner, I have to learn something new every day one way or another or I feel like I've wasted the day.
