Ribh's D'Coopage

@Grammy60: It took me forever to learn how to up load pictures! :) My oldest girl had to teach me but I am a visual learner & she is kinesthetic & never the twain shall meet! I made her very cross but revenge is sweet. The turnaround was I taught her to drive!!!! She wasn't allowed on the mainland for months but my younger girl is a visual like I am & she was driving on the mainland, even our capitol, Brisbane, in a matter of weeks. And it took me 3 YEARS to teach my hubby how to use a computer. Even now he bleats for me when something goes wrong & in all honesty, most of the time I haven't a clue. I follow youngest's advice: Press [buttons] Until Something Happens!:lau

The pictures are lovely. I particularly like the last one. Such an interesting formation & lovely blues!:love

MJ she doesn't look so bad... Hows she do eating?

She works harder at her food than the other two, but she definitely gets to eat it. I reported her not eating pellets the other day, the she made a liar of me yesterday when I saw her at the pellets twice.

The trouble is, the other two have full, pointy beaks and she can't fight back when they grab her.

Which is good in the sense that the pecking order was sorted out quickly. They're a stable little flock now that Sandy decided to relinquish her roost to the other two - to avoid injury from Janet, she found a new roost well out of striking range.

Lottie!! :love She's so sweet
She really is! And she lays really regularly too. Her eggs aren't much smaller than Pebbles & Pebble's are nearly as big as the Campines. She doesn't really like to be babied either but she appreciates a little extra attention if the competition is particularly fierce in cold weather. I'd really like to get her a companion [or 2] next time I buy. That may be spring. I want some blue layers but will wait till they're available.
