The girls were out & about all day but I found them under the coop when it was feeding stations & everyone is accounted for.
She's such a sweety.Desi is the one chook I am still a bit worried about. Still getting treatment each day though there's nothing wrong with her appetite. And she loves having some time with me on her own until Ceres & Olivia start screaming about it.View attachment 2600081
It's been steady downpour all day ~ & yes @Aussie-Chookmum, we have celery in food dye.
I couldn't get anything with leaves on.She's such a sweety.
Let me know how the celery goes. I think it may work better if the leaves are left on as it draws the water up and out through transpiration.
If you decide to have another go at it, try using one stick of celery with the leaves on and the stem split halfway up with one half in a cup of blue dye and the other in red. That way you will get one piece of celery in two colours!
You are quite right. It does work better but I took what I could get & was grateful. 
The milk trick has been a bit hit. We've tried that a couple of times now. Apparently it never gets old. 
Such pretty feathering. Definitely a cutie!
