Yes odd bits get added in. Unfortunately I am a very visual learner so remember spelling with English equivilents & that means I usually misremember the correct pronounciation- with some exceptions to do with Irish Gaelic. Being a musician you've probably got a much better ear than I do.

Same thing on the boats. Pointless doing social distancing, masks etc if they squash us on the boats like sardines. They need to make up their minds.

I agree, it really is ridiculous and the masks really don't offer protection, but if you want to buy anything you have to mask up!

Oh yes! That's the funny thing. Everybody knows they're not supposed to be out the front ~ for all sorts of reason like dogs & cars & not enough cover depending where they are~ so turn tail & head back where they belong as soon as they see me.

I find Italian much easier as there are many similarities between English and Italian, even though English is a Germanic language. In Scottish Gaelic; piobaireachd = "peebrock", I mean, really!!

Unfortunately Poor old Desi got the worst case of all. Titania is showing no symptoms. Ceres did the 2 weeks & I'm over it & Olivia had just the 1 or 2 spots.

Yep. All the Ds sound like Gs to me ~ or worse, T/Ks. It is terribly confusing but written down I can do. I'm finding quite a few nouns have transferred nicely into English but the verbs & pronouns could be the end of me.
