Thanks, MJ! I hope you have a relaxing one this week. Blossom is quite correct. There is no good reason a human needs cushions to sit on.

She thinks my butt is a built-in cushion so tough cookies, she gets the soft spot on the bench

I don't have to work this weekend. I may still do so but it'll be my own choice.

My little *I want to be people* Olivia is a real chicken.
Today she squatted for me then laid her 1st egg in a nesting box.
I happened to see her investigating her options when I went to collect the egg under Luna, which wasn't Luna's. Olivia couldn't believe her luck. My shoulder was @ the perfect height for landing! Here is Olivia's 1st egg beside one of Soda's for comparison.

I can try but she's not keen on being handled. Unlike Olivia who likes nothing better than a good snuggle with her human.

I think Luna is pre-broody. Trying to pre-empt her & stop this before it begins.
