Ribh's D'Coopage

I am feeling a little better about her now! :lau

In all seriousness you likely could get her to walk on a leash - but being a cat she will then rush back inside to use the litter box.
But if America is anything like Australia, you’d have to take poo bags with you any pick up any deposits left behind anyway.

It's Wednesday.i had my toast n tea in the back porch where I could see the hens :)

I like the shadows in this photo.
The run & coop get stippled shade all summer. It's a little cool in winter as it doesn't get a terrible lot of sunshine but I have to offset that against the summer heat ~ which gets hot enough to kill. The cold doesn't.

This is why I'm prepared to give Ceres a chance to sit; she's one smart little hen. She's not running round the coop tok~tokking @ everyone & driving them crazy. She leaves the nest of her own accord. I found her downstairs scratching, eating, drinking as per normal. No broody fuss, fuss, fuss. She socialised with everyone normally. When she was done she went quietly back upstairs to sit. She has the nest of her choice with the 2 fake eggs. Luna & Beatha both took nests to either side of her so it seems the older hens aren't fazed by what she's doing. They went berko last year @ Alpia & Wrold. She is attacking me ~ but not excessively. It's more a warning than a broody frenzy. So far I'm really impressed with how she's going about things. I was...am...a little worried just because she is so young but she is being emminently sensible compared to some of the nutters we've had running round here. 🙄 Now if someone else is prepared to join her...
