Ribh's D'Coopage

Ah, the "good" old "supply chain" issue! Well I'm glad it is in. Looks like the cat is as well.

Mine are down in the barn, I can't hear them when I'm in the house. Scream away girls!

I think I have an egg eater :( Never had that before. Don't know if it is one of the new 6 or one of the older girls gone to the dark side.
Ceramic eggs and collecting them eggs frequently during the day fixed mine. I never knew who it was.

So I thought I’d post this here on Ribh’s thread as that’s where a lot of the creative stuff appears. A while ago I posted on Bob’s thread that I had gone back to drawing, but the perspective was out. I got an easel for Christmas and bought myself some canvases (which I have not worked with before so that was a new experience). I want to do a series of tasteful nude portraits, with a view to displaying them somewhere. I finished the first one the other night and I’m really happy with how it turned out. I’ll stick it behind a spoiler for those who nudity in not their thing.

I’m finding it a cathartic experience, which is something I really need right now.

No need to hide it, you see more at the beach.
And ...
REALLY GOOD!!!!!!!

Ceramic eggs and collecting them eggs frequently during the day fixed mine. I never knew who it was.
I have golf balls and plastic eggs. There is also one I made with a piece of cherry wood. There were 2 unbroken eggs, one warm enough to have been recent, and 2 that were cleaned out. That was at 2:30 PM. There weren't any eggs at 9 AM.

Too dang cold to hang out in the coop! I had a game camera in there about a month ago to see who was laying, got nothing and the dang batteries died within 2 days. It wasn't even particularly cold then.

I wonder if I need to go back to layer feed even though they have 24x7 oyster shell. Maybe the one eating the eggs needs more calcium. But then the shell was mostly there, the insides were eaten so maybe that isn't it.

Happy Caturday
You may have seen on @BY Bob’s FBA thread that I have been quite sick this week and have been more-or-less in bed since Monday.
This little fella has been with me all the time. He is a lovely little heat pad with soothing purrs thrown in.
I like to think he knew I was unwell and was keeping watch over me. I know in reality he just really likes a heated bed with free ear scratches thrown in.
It’s OK. I love him anyway.
I included the blurry picture ‘cos that’s what I see before I put my glasses on!
:lau

I am feeling a bit better so am hoping to try getting up and about today.

Sorry to hear you've been sick RC. :hugs
I'm glad to hear you are feeling better though and no longer in danger from hungry cats!
