She threw a few pecks at Lottie, ate some bugs, wiped her beak on the ground, but I haven’t seen her scratch at the ground like they normally do, plus she walks fairly sedately. I checked her feet last night; I couldn’t see anything that resembled bumble foot, but she’s not limping either. I haven’t seen her take a dirt bath for a while either.

Lice, mites, worms, egg binding... ? The weather's been so awful though I'm surprised mine haven't succumbed to something or other.

No lice or mites but I haven’t wormed them. Haven’t seen any evidence of worms though. I wouldn’t have a clue how to tell if there is egg binding, but she hasn’t laid one for a week or two.

Pekins we have out here. I nearly bought some a couple of years back along with a Sussex but my breeder had Campines. I love those loony birds!

I ended up with just one Sussex as she was the last one there when I got my Pekins and I felt sorry for her bit she's lovely and is definitely the boss.

Yes, the dirt in the run under the roof is mostly dry.

Yes, but apparently we’re getting another week of rain. I managed to mow the back lawn today and put the new motor on the auto door.

Oh no not more rain! And for me I will say: oh no not more snow. We are getting about 4” today which is not a massive amount but of course I filled up the garage with projects again so there is no room for the car. Ugh. I hate digging out my car.
