Wow, that was funny@bruceha2000 I thought of you when this happened. A less than 3 lb pullet ran off my 20+ lb cat today.
Do not doubt Glynda's moxie. She started stalking Éowyn and in this very rough video, she chases Éowyn off. At least that's what she will tell you. Right before the video starts, Glynda had attacked Éowyn's bum. That is why Éowyn is turned facing her.
That Glynda is one tough lady to take on a 20+ lb cat!
I'm sure glad about that! Cats that get out often don't go far but also won't some out from their hiding spots. The impressive thing was ~36 hours outside alone and she did not leave the yard.
Really doesn't. Éowyn came up to her to sniff her and Glynda just looked her in the eye and flared her hackle feathers. Éowyn walked away and it was on. The chase began.Good morning/evening everyone
Wow, that was funnyI guess in this case, size doesn't matter

I do make an effort to contribute to discussions & @ least sound semi~intelligent as, as a teacher, there's nothing more soul destroying than a roomfull of students clammed up & staring blankly @ you ~ even if it's by zoom.I'm sorry you have been dealing with an infection. Are you making progress getting over the infection? I hope it is not serious.WEDNESDAY WHEREVER.
I've remembered...
The girls surrounded me but it is cold & showery & they'd really like more treats.
I think they are missing me...do chooks miss their people? I have been bedridden with a post surgery infection & sleeping a lot. Goodness knows what will happen with the archaeology. I can probably manage the English standing on my head, though I might not manage it well, but half the time I have no idea what the archaeology is on about. We keep ending up in the hard sciences & I have absolutely no science background @ all.I do make an effort to contribute to discussions & @ least sound semi~intelligent as, as a teacher, there's nothing more soul destroying than a roomfull of students clammed up & staring blankly @ you ~ even if it's by zoom.

What a great video.Mrs BY Bob wanted to get a harness and walk Éowyn around the neighborhood. She would have loved the stroller idea. I have ruled against that as I don't want her getting used to the world outside the fence.
We had a bit of a situation this past weekend. We had to take my granddaughter Eve back home and the tribe was on their own in the complex for 48 hours.
In the hustle and bustle of getting out the door with Eve we forgot Éowyn was outside.
I did not discover so until I saw her in the background of one of the coop cams Saturday night as I was checking in on Gucci roosting. Check this out!
Before everyone worries, she has a water dish outside and can drink from the pool in a pinch.
I called my brother and he ran over and let her into the house so no damage was done. The impressive thing was ~36 hours outside alone and she did not leave the yard.

And another.@bruceha2000 I thought of you when this happened. A less than 3 lb pullet ran off my 20+ lb cat today.
