Sometimes she sleeps in a sitting position and sometimes she plays dead. It seems to be whatever suits her mood. She is mostly with Glynda and Lady Featherington but I have seen her laying with Hattie. I also see her off on her own from time to time when the others get excited and run somewhere. Gucci can but does not run.
While I'm certain she can see I think she may not have great eyesight. When trying to eat from my hand she has trouble targeting an individual kernel. She misses when pecking. I've seen it take 3 pecks until she gets one.
Overall she is progressing but I do think more is going on than just her legs. She can fly, leave the coop, walk well enough, find her way back home, eat from the feeder and drink from the water dish. She has friends who care about her. Overall, I think her quality of life is pretty good and she gets a little better almost every day.
Starting to think the cure is worse than the problem.
