Everyone, meet Eddie. We’ve adopted him from a shelter an hour away and as you can see, he has his investigating feet on. Jasper is currently unimpressed, hopefully it won’t take long for them to be friends.

A ginger! I love gingers! Both of mine are rescues too.
He’s friendly but not cuddly yet. And naturally he’s done something to his eye.
He discovered the outdoor run and may have scratched it on a bit of Tiger Grass as he was closing it and it was weeping a bit. So I threw a towel over him and wiped it gently with some warm saline. He didn’t like that and struggled. Hubby helped but don’t know if it made any difference. He gave it a wash himself a bit later and was opening it more, but now he’s favouring it again. I’m hoping it will feel better in the morning. And he doesn’t appear to be holding a grudge over our liberty-taking.
