Sounds like a division of labor is developing. I wonder if this will break any of them from wanting to sit again? Sydney never went broody again after raising Ned and Lucky.
lol Wrold seems to prefer sitting to mothering. She took over the egg Alpia abandoned until even she had to agree it was a dud. 🤣 With so many mums no~one is overwhelmed, which would have been helpful if all the chicks had survived. With just 2 the chicks are being over~mothered. 🙄

This is a female Tawny Frogmouth.
How do I know she's female?

Because what 1st attracted my attention was this baby flopping about on the grass. Not a safe place for any baby that can barely fly.

I managed to grab bubs without any fuss & pop them back on a tree branch.

Mum came & joined them ~ sort of ~but as I'm short this was the best I could do.
