I only have my big fur baby Todd, he's a Pyrenees mix. We never got around to getting chickens at the new house.

Is there a reason not to start now?
Bantams don’t need much space, aren’t much work, they are lovely companion and give the sweetest small eggs.
The dog might be a problem though unless he thinks the chickens are a kind of sheep.

Todd would be no problem with chicken as that is what he guarded before. No real reason not to start, other than I'm just not ready
