Ribh's D'Coopage

Wow. Amazing. It must be a very special experience the first time something you composed is played.
Many congratulations.
I enjoyed it - but that doesn’t mean much as I am not really a connoisseur! Is there a story behind it (or its title)?
Thank you! ☺️ Originally SCS wanted to merge with other musicians to make a full orchestra and have a visual in the background to play to, but they didn’t get the funding. So that informed how I composed; I wrote music that was (hopefully) fun and interesting for the musicians to play, whilst sounding like something that would sit in the background of a film. It went through a number of styles and used various playing techniques, including modern ones.

As Ribh’s thread seems to be the official/unofficial arts and craft thread, I thought you might like to see a performance of a piece of music I was commissioned to compose last year.

That was fantastic Lozzy! I'm going to listen again. It had chapters like a book!

The chickens are awash.
They were so disgusted @ yesterdays weather they had roosted by 4pm.

That is something. I assume the house is high and dry. Stay safe.
I am very high and dry, thank you. The land slopes and the back of the house is high set so I am quite safe but I'm seeing some of the biggest storms I've ever been through. The claps of thunder rattle the whole house and all the cats come looking for comfort. It is quite something!

We had quite the thunderstorms today. Lots of loud thunder. The new chicks were unconcerned but I surely was.

Stay safe and take care of those cats.
