My 5 girls have 4 separate watering spots but it's always the same bowl that empties first. Maybe the water tastes better there?

Same with mine. The one in the run gets the most use. Always runs out first.

In Adelaide it's 15.8 at present (8am) and we're expecting a high of 23. A typical spring day. And it looks like Sandy has laid her egg

I absolutely LOVE the name Adelaide! I wanted to name my daughter that, but my ex-husband insisted on a biblical name, so she was named Anna after my 4th great-grandmother who immigrated from Swansea, South Whales.

Our cat, Belle, is a Persian cross but she won't sit still for brushing. So, in spring she takes a trip to the vet and gets shorn like a sheep.

I thought you good people might enjoy her "snow bunny" look with her fluffy boots, head and tail.

So cute! My grandmother had a Persian and she got the same look every year, twice a year... their arthritis prevented them from grooming, both the cats and my grandma’s. Our vet back then called it “the Lion” cut so regal and feline It was a huge relief for everyone because the poor cat would fight being groomed, my grandmas hands weren’t up to holding the brush anymore, and guess who got volunteered as a scratching post when she got all matted? Of course watching her frolic after her first shave was priceless... she was so happy to move freely again, and much less grumpy.

Lol, all this talk of tall people! I’m 5’ 6 3/4” and was totally obsessed as a youngling with hitting that 6’ mark (so that extra 3/4” really mattered to me!) I idolized one of my uncles who was 6’3” and I did mostly date mostly taller men 6’-6’2” when I was younger. Andrew is a comfy 5’9” though, and the best part is we wear the same shoe size! I can steal his shoes which are conveniently near the door if I need to nip out quickly for something (I usually prefer tie ups, him slip on ones) our roomate also wore a men’s 9 1/2, all I had to do was walk to the door and pick a pair! Funny, though they would use eachother’s I never needed to worry about them taking my pink runners or “nice lady like” shoes
