Ever since I had to fence them in because of the neighbors it's not been the same. I can't even let them out for an hour while I watch them. I tried it once and the neighbor immediately called the boro. The chickens weren't even in her yard.

Do you sit in the run with them? I keep a chair in the run. In the winter time with snow the run is the only clear spot. I love to do that and have them hang around me.

Oh, yeah. You can't walk past that cat without giving him a smooch. If you forget he hooks a claw into whatever is available to bring you to a halt & remind you to give him a scratch!

He does! This is the one who snuggles with me @ night all winter long. He gets too hot in the summer but he misses his smooches & can get very needy.

I have 2 ~ they just show it in different ways. My Tux is a lot harder to live with. He can be very demanding & vocal & he really likes to get in my face. I'm actually allergic to him but he's very hard to discourage when he wants to love on me.

While we're speaking of cats, Blossom was not well last night. She was sick. Twice. Once on the couch and once on my bed. She's much brighter this morning and enjoyed her breakfast, so I assume it was something she ate. However, given the amount of cleaning up she's given me, I feel entitled to make the following face
