Ribh's D'Coopage

What a sweet story. I can just picture the full break out. My favorite is Ha'penny just hoping back in. I know mom, I know. :gig
She's a card. And she's very sweet. They are hard work to begin with but a wonderful payoff! They have the best personalities! Now I know what I'm in for I will build my flock around Campines I think. The eggs aren't huge but I don't like or want really big eggs. They are consistent layers. They get on reasonably well with everyone & I actually prefer more timid chickens. I find the really dominant ones a PITA to deal with!

And you did all of that. Note you can really see their personalities. You have done a great job earning their trust. It's actually not that easy. Great job!
And mostly by default. :gigI was merely trying to keep tabs on my smaller birds but the Campines have needed a little extra help too. They are low on the totem pole ~ mostly due to their smaller lighter size & propensity for running about shrieking. It drives the flock slightly bonkers too.:lau

Here she is.
Captured doing the outer run circuit & punished with neck rubs & cuddles.

You've done an amazing job with your campines.

And all your others too, but those campines were so wild at first and now look at the trust!!

Thanks, MJ! :) I never expected to be able to do this with these birds & they are still pretty flighty but it is ...wow...:th
