We had a big thunderstorm last night with a decent amount of rain. Of course the lightening started at least one fire that I know of which is now out.

The forecast this week is for rain 6 out of 7 days! Here's hoping

Better late than never. I hope the rain is enough to damp down the bush and spread wide enough to help others.

I adore raspberries and they don't do well here either.
I do have a gooseberry plant though and it has coped with everything from chickens to snow.

I did have a gooseberry ~ 'cause I like their little paper lanterns ~ but no~one here really eats them so when it died while we were away one summer I didn't mourn.
