Ribh's D'Coopage

UPDATE: So I was spooked that my birds would disappear on me so I rang to confirm this morning ~ they did catch up with me. My choice of breeds began with Campines, then Araucanas, then silver laced Wyandottes. I got the Campines & Aracaunas confirmed separately then together. Whew! However I wanted another 2 birds to bring my flock numbers up again. Nothing in the standards grabbed me but....[drum roll....] they have silver laced wyandotte bantams!!! Ta~da! Like I get wyandotte bantams to run with Lottie but the breed & colour I wanted. I am so super stoked it's unbelievable! I remembered to ask what colour the Aracaunas were & I have a choice. They have a black & 2 splash. I'll look but will probably go with the splash. Now I can hardly wait to go & pick my new girls up. Waiting on a break in the weather to sort out the little coop.
All the excited emojis! :wee :celebrate :love:ya:wee

@Aussie-Chookmum as for the firewood, that’s the plan. Normal procedure seems to be to ignore the woodpile until at least September or October (our fall) then panic. We are trying to work proactively with Wayne to maybe get a year ahead, for Andrew’s great Aunt, Wayne, and Andrew’s second cousin who maintains the property and house on the top of the cliff.

Yes, the two stooges make for some very scary moments... we now have part of a wall vertical. So we will have to play it day by day.
