Ribh's D'Coopage

I woke up last night dreaming about this integration so it seems it has been weighing on my mind more than I thought it was.

Positives:
  • Everyone roosted where they should last night within a reasonable time frame.
  • Everyone is downstairs this morning
  • Everyone has eaten ~ food left over from last night
  • Everyone has had a drink
  • The pen is quiet & calm so I think the new birds have settled in. Even in confined quarters there is plenty to look @ in their view & lots of new sounds to adjust to.
To dos when I get home today:
  • Add a 2nd drinking station to the big coop
  • scrub all my food tubs.
  • check the treadle feeder.
  • Fill the run water station with fresh water.
  • Make sure all my logs are stable. The big girls have been digging under them for grubs.
  • Put down fresh bedding under all the roosts.
What have I forgotten?

I'm still waiting to hear about this car. Not that I'm knowledgeable. All I really know is they have 4 wheels & go vroom, vroom.

That never posted, oops!

I toured a private car and motorcycle museum yesterday. I am not allowed to post pictures of the vehicles but there was one that made me think of my Aussie chicken friends.

They had a 1936 Matchless motorcycle of which there are like 5 to 7 left in the world. Here is the last inspection sticker on it.

Even when I'm looking at antique vehicles you are all not far from my mind.

Hi sue. Hope all is well in your world.
All good here, day off for Presidents day and it's beautiful outside 😊 Went out to feed the birds early and found out it was a lot warmer than I thought it would be. In the sun it feels like 80 degrees 😲 a little bit warm for me. But it's better than more mud, that will be back tomorrow I think 😞
