Here’s a hug for the fried brain and cut-out nasty bits.

Sometimes I feel a bit down if no-one seems to have commented on a post of mine (the negative psychological impact of social media). Then I realise that I am probably doing the same when I scroll through posts at work (and really shouldn’t be ). I know we don’t all necessarily have the capacity to make lengthy responses at leisure to all our friends’ posts, so I get where you are coming from. That said, I am addicted to this forum!

I think one comes to realise that responding in full to every post would mean a all day on the site.

Thanks, @LozzyR. I much prefer to respond to each post when people have taken the time to comment in the 1st place but I just couldn't keep up with all the extra happening. And the surgery, minor as it is, has taken a heavy emotional toll. I'm behind on time with my girls too & that just won't do!

Good evening folks

Jeannie hope you feel better quickly We're up early this morning due to weather... multiple emergency alerts on the cell phone woke us then we got a phone call from the county telling us to take cover. A tornado touched down south west of us and traveled south east of us. Thankfully it stayed south. We've gotten 3.8 cm of rain in the last 3 hours with lots of lightning and a good dose of hail as well.

I have been enjoying everyone's photos & comments but life here got a little out of control for commenting on everything. The IT man came & I was required to look intelligent & ask intelligent questions on behalf of the man who has even less idea than I do. This fried my brain for all intents & purposes as I never use his computers or eBay or the scanner.

The clouds coming home were quite something though.​

I just want you to know I read all of your posts and find them wonderful.

I found myself thinking the same thing the other day. I put up this huge post, pictures, videos, and nothing. Then later in the day responses started coming in.

I've learned that the "like" is a reward all its own. On a certain level, I can't believe anyone reads what I post.

Most of all, this community were have created organically is amazing. I value anyone who joins us and appreciate all of the support here even when I make mistakes with the flock. And of course you are a key member of "the Flock". Thank you for joining with us.
