Hope you've had a good day.Thank you, Kris. Apart from helping save our natives & help the environment it is another small thing we can manage on just under an acre for self~sufficiency. And it's not the sort of thing to impact anyone's health negatively. Which is good.Yea!!!! Go bees!!! So excited for you.

... with everyone... except Ruby of course! She may get the boot too if she doesn’t behave! I’m also wondering when should I let Nilky and babies out with the rest? The only thing that is keeping me waiting is that we are putting up the fenced yard soon and I’ll be letting everyone out and leaving the door open so everyone has access to in or out... and I cannot let mama and babies do that as they are still so small (bantams) and they’ll fit through the fence... soooo, this is my new dilemma at the moment... uuuugghh, don’t really know what to do about this!
... they just might have to stay in their little section until they grow ...
Not sure exactly what you are asking but could you run something like shade cloth around the bottom foot of the fence? That would keep them in.
It’s farm fencing.. 2x4 squares.. it’s a good size yard so they just may have to waitOr chicken wire? Plastic netting of some sort? What kind of fence is it?

... flapping like crazy!!! So once the BGs were all in I took the mids and moved them to the other end of the roosts... away from the BGs ... so they looked pretty much the same as this pic... a little farther away from the others though...
... so now hubs has to put another 2x4 there tomorrow.... CHICKENS BE CRAZY!!!!!
