First job of the day, while not quite done & dusted, is well under way. Not the first time I've been grateful my flock is pretty calm & laid back. They had a good sticky then calmly lay down to watch proceedings. Probably helped I was out with them.

I let them out when the wind began to change direction thinking they'd head for the shell ginger @ the other end of the verandah but, nope! They are such nosey~rosies! They're hanging where the action is.

Oh, but I AM! I love burning & we've had a ban on for months.

You know @Kris5902, we lived in a 25' caravan with 3 kids & a dalmatian when we first came to our island ~ so there's another commonality.

I have some fire pics but on my old phone... and no coop pics yet.. well my coop/run is done but we are expanding onto it and adding a yard.. so when that is done I’ll post... we are getting materials this weekend..

That is sooo cool! I love looking @ other people's coops ~ especially when they've gone to a bit of trouble to pretty them up. Ours is one side of our entertainment area so it sorta does have to look ok. The verandah line is where our drop~off starts for the hill & it's quite difficult terrain. Unfenceable except @ exorbitant cost.
