No, pink's not my choice of colour either but I do think these are gorgeous! I do like flowers but even more I like a scented garden. That’s gorgeous! I’m not much of a pink person, or a flower person, but wow!

I had a night jasmine for years.Oooh, now that I can definitely appreciate! And I do like having flowers in the garden, one of my absolute favorites was night blooming jasmine (or such, I’m just not great with ornamentals, lol). I planted it along the bench/retaining wall of my patio. We mostly spent time out there in the evenings, as there was practically no shade in my city lot and that would be when my husband and roommate were home. It was such a nice aroma!
Hit post accidentally... I really like the subtlety and variation of the color in you bloom... I had no idea they smelled good too! I also wanted a pond/water garden... but the logistics just never quite worked out.
I had a night jasmine for years.I really loved it but I haven't been able to replace it yet. The lotus scent is faint & quite delicate.
I know with farming the farming always comes first but you have the space if you can ever find the time to do a water garden. Here most people put in dams because farm water is notoriously unreliable & many have waterlilies to help stop evaporation. I really want to put some koi in @ least one but think I may just end up feeding the native birds.![]()
lolKoi = very expensive raccoon food here!
One of my uncles tried them in his pond in the city... it ended up looking like a jail/sewer grate...
there was the pond under a metal cage two feet above and away from all the edges, padlocked to rings anchored in the concrete and then also fully wrapped in 3/4” hardware cloth! He eventually gave it up, because sure... he had finally outsmarted the coons, but he also created this amazing eyesore right next to his patio!
We have a couple ponds, but mostly they just grow duckweed!
That looks amazingI don't eat meat so my eggs are super important to me. They get used in lots of different ways in lots of different things. Tonight it was to make zucchini & creamed corn fritters, topped with sour cream & sweet chilli jam, served with Asian salad. The man had a serve of meat with his. *shudder*

lo I loathe cooking sooo much! My kids learnt to cook because I have been known to have a complete kitchen meltdown & refuse point blank to have anything further to do with food. It was a necessary survival skill for them. I did teach them ~ but that is why!View attachment 1703023
That looks amazing
