Ribh's D'Coopage

Ribh sounds like a good reason to NOT have a cat, who knows what it drags in next
lol When you live in the bush you must expect wildlife. We came home from a week away to find FIVE [5] snakeskins draped up a bedroom wall. Then there was the summer the kids kept moving downstairs/upstairs, upstairs/downstairs because we kept finding snakes in all the bedrooms & there has been a rather large carpet snake in our roof forever.:lau I come from funnel web spider country. The snakes I can @ least see.:gig

Growing up as a kid I had a cat that caught EVERYTHING! By the time I was 10 I was used to dealing with cat gifts ranging from mice and birds to squirrels and snakes. He even took on several groundhogs.

To this day I'm the one who gets called to handle the bugs and rodents in the office.
lol & I'm the one my kids still call on to deal with the wild life! And I'm not really an animal person...:lau

Where we used to live we would see bald eagles daily... I was about 20 feet from this magnificent creature!! View attachment 1841830View attachment 1841833View attachment 1841834View attachment 1841835View attachment 1841836View attachment 1841837
And some friends from church had baby owl chicks they had recused and I was intrigued... but then found out what they fed them... baby chicks :hit.... no thank you!!!!

Beautiful!

Feeding the owls bits of baby chick was by far the worst part of that birds of prey experience. But I believe there is a lot of sexing and culling in the egg industry and at least the chicks that go to bird sactuaries have a natural end. By the time we saw them, the chicks were already dead.

Edit: Sorry everyone, I just realised how depressing this post is :hmm:hit

I understand the too many computers situation. I have my personal computer and my work computer in the office. Sue has her personal computer in her office and then her phone and tablet. Thankfully there's no competition here for machines. When the son lived here the competition was for bandwidth.
Ah, well, we have the most we can get because when we set up we had 2 movie watchers, a musician, a home business, 2~3 using a computer for school & a gamer. We never use everything up these days but it is worth a bit of extra money to know we don't have to watch our usage like hawks!
