Ribh's D'Coopage

So much seems to happen here when one doesn't get a chance to pop in for 48 hours!

Getting old is no fun... I know better than to sit down, when I've been working a project all day, but I did it anyway last night. Less than a minute after setting down I was sound asleep. Sue finished jarring the jelly. But here are partial results.... I still have to finish the sauce today.
36 half pints of Jelly and three pints. A little juice left over that I'll use with the Sauce.

This is all that was left from 15Kg of apples. Everything else will be in Jars...

I'll post pics of the sauce as we make it today. It's all been milled and stored in the fridge over night.

What a marathon effort with those apples! No wonder you were tired :th

Most of my girls are big & they lay a good sized egg. Lottie is tiny. Guess which egg is hers.:lau
It's like having fairies @ the bottom of the garden.

I love the egg photo @Ribh (look! tagged you again!) So many variations in size and shape.

Awww Lottie :love
So glad I caught up on everyone's posts, those evening and morning sounds were amazing! It's strange how very different things can be :)
Hope your poorly chook comes around @Aussie-Chookmum

Yes, the people whose yard the car is stored in have refused me access to my personal possessions. I don't have a contract with them, yet they are using blackmail to get me to pay their bill. My insurance covers all of that, but that's not the point. The point is: what if my life-saving medication was in that car? Etc etc. You see the point. Holding the car is one thing. Withholding someone's personal possossions is another, and its objectionable.

Thanks for the concern @MaryJanet. I'm feeling very supported by you all. :):thumbsup

The business with your car sounds so annoying! Surely it's not legal to deny you access to your own property?

Hi Jeannie and good morning.:frow I'm a bit off today and can use extra friend support. Ever put your heart out there knowing it would be broken and then it was?

I actually said "oh no" out loud when I read this @rjohns39. :(:hugs

I knew this was the inevitable end I just didn't expect to ever be called a pedifile by folks I thought where my friends. All I can say is shame on them. I am who I am and have always been honest about that. No secrets, no agendas just me. I hate politics and refuse to play them here. So, If I'm a bad guy, well that's who I am.

I hate it when people who aren't involved have nothing good to say or offer. :rant
They can just keep their sick opinions to themselves!:smack
You are right @rjohns39, shame on them! Ignore those small minded ones.
As the saying goes " Those that matter don't mind and those that mind don't matter" ;)
:hugs

That is very good news!!:hugs I guess a number of us have suffered loses lately so we're just that bit more sensitive to things going wrong. SO glad all is well!:hugs

I know what you mean, it was starting to sound like the Chicken Apocalypse around here!

Sorry for making people worry. I've had a very full and hectic 2 days.

You'll be pleased to hear that when I got home late last night and checked the nesting boxes l found an egg!

Tsuki's egg on the right for scale. No wonder Deana was having a hard time!

I'll keep an eye on her for the next few days and hopefully she will start laying regularly soon. If she has any more difficulty I will just break out the personal lubricant and syringe again to help things along :D !

That is great news! Thanks for updating us. I was getting nervous. @Ribh was right, I just needed to be patient to hear news. :hugs

Yep, I usually can't get on here every day :(

But it's hard to wait, and feels like forever when bad news is looming
