I love a good burning! I find it very cleansing.

I finally have a pair of hummingbirds who visit my feeder regularly. Before it was one here or there, but now it's a pair. I managed to take a picture of the female the other day. It's not the best, I was fairly far away.

And some updated kitty pictures as well.

John calls me his *little firebug*. I adore a good fire but I didn't really enjoy yesterday's. It burnt really, really hot ~ too hot really & the lads apparently just threw everything on it so now I am fishing through the ash for the metal & old tile pieces so I can throw the good ash in the run for the girls to enjoy.

Oh do! I love the Mitchell library. I wish I had a library like the main reading room. I wonder if you are allowed to take pictures inside?

I'm sure you can take a picture of the statue of "Trim", Matthew Flinder's cat that is outside.
