How do you do your fried tomatoes ChookLady?

That's a great egg storage idea!
I pencil the date on mine when I collect them. But then, I only have 4 laying at the moment and it kind of spoils the look of the egg...![]()
My fried tomatoes are pretty simple. I don't like green tomatoes, so I go for the ones that are just turning red but are still very firm.
I just slice them, cover them in flour with a touch of sugar in it, and then brown them in butter. Super simple but Delicious!
